Why don't we do the cap based on the individual highest total for a season the player had. For example HR's we base the number off the single highest total. So for Bonds his cap figure would be 73. For Ruth it would be 60.

Additionally for Pitchers we would use their individual highest SO season total. Sandy Koufax would be $382. Billy Wagner $124.

$1,600 pitching staff.
$350 for batters.

Cap figures can be altered.

For our next draft (in 3 months), do we try this sort of cap draft for NFL. It will be tough.

I was thinking do one draft like always but three rules:

1. Cap - career high’s in a season for TD’s (only 7 offensive skill players). ALSO, you cannot pick a player from the same team. (4 years or 64 games to qualify for a team)
(QB, FB, RB, 3 WR’s, TE) - 100 total TD’s

2. Cap - career high in a season for INT’s (5 secondary players). ALSO, you cannot pick a player from the same team.
(3 CB’s and 2 S’s) - 35 total INT’s

3. The other 12 players you just fill in with no cap but you cannot have a player from the same team as the other 12 players. Same qualifications (4 years or 64 games)

so in total 24 out of 32 teams will be used. Cap only for offensive skill players and back 5 secondary.
