I was even too young to appreciate Marino, he retired when I was 7 or 8, I remember for Christmas when I was 5 I got a shirt that had Marino with a santa hat and it said "All I want for Christmas is a Super bowl ring" and it had all of his records at the time (Every fucking one) on the back.

I loved that shirt

You should love that shirt, he's the best QB who ever played the game!

I think he's the most talented, and probably the best if you discount resume, but I have Montana and Brady both ahead of him on my list and maybe a few others.

Football is a team sport. If Marino had Belichick and played by today's rules he would have won 10 Super Bowls!

I'm not sure why Bob Griese is so underrated and I'm not sure why the '72 Dolphins are so underrated.

Well that is not how it works unfortunately. Marino was as talented as they come but he wasn't the best

Is it just me or hasn't just about everyone walked 111 times a season? Even if you just count the times they walked into the stadium. I believe that would be 324 times the walked a year :dhd:

this is not in the rules... But it needs to be a rule... the NO ALL STAR phase, the player MUST have played most of his career in the all star eligible years

Agreed! Players who played their first game prior to 1933 are not eligible for that phase.

ALSO

From this point forward when you post your pick please post.

Players name, phase and proof of the phase.

Meaning. If you take Griffey Jr. post phase 13 and 2008 Reds-White Sox.

I dont wanna have to keep looking everything up.

There are some you can't show like Cobb no Championships and thats fine. But where you can show me proof please do.
