WLK, it was a good attempt... I know what it feels like, in the basketball draft last time everyone was saying my team was weak, and I just couldn't see it due to just not knowing the players... Your problems was that you had some bad picks... The Ed walsh pick started it off... Ratio stats without longevity don't really mean much... if you look at most of the Greats, if you only looked at their best seasons, their ratio stats would be much better than they show...

The randy Johnson pick was probably your best pick of the draft...

Another thing, the way your lineup is set, you don't really have enough power... Sosa on your bench, he would have probably been better off starting as DH over Vlad(not saying sosa is better than vlad)...

WLK, you're being hard on yourself, you put together a great team. Maybe 2-3 picks you could have changed and you might have won. 500 just has a better lineup and a little better pitching

500's lineup is excellent.

Comparing team to team across the lineup I'd only give WLK the nod with Wagner and Yogi. Who both were excellent picks. Which isn't saying WLK has a bad lineup, just that 500's is excellent.

I do like wlks bench slightly more. (Not sure on who would be pinch hit for, but I can see a lot of value in Coleman.)And while I do like his bullpen. One lefty is tough against these lineups. You can't use guys situationally as much with only one. And any advantage you can have to slow down a killer lineup is huge.

Randy Johnson may be the best #2 in this Mock, but not enough to sway the rotation in his team's favor.
