I vote for UK because Pudge has a better runners thrown out %. Just playin'.


Both lineups are amazing as was everyones, it's hard to argue with the up and down the lineup power UK has, I think my lineup has a better mix of speed and power though.


I also believe my bench is better.


Rotaions are both very strong and IMO there might only be one team with a better 1-2 than these two teams. I love Steve Carlton and Clemens is well I don't have to tell you. But I do love Sandy and Pedro was freaking amazing as well. I think adding Catfish Hunter was HUGE for UK.


I like my pen and believe it might be underrated by some but I think I like UK's bullpen better.

I could breakdown a million things in this matchup. Like Chapman and Rosenthal being great usage of picks for 2010. Or Pudge being the third best overall catcher in my mind. Or Sheffield being one of the most dynamic bench options. Or Clemens, Carlton, Kershaw being the only 1,2,3 I like as well as mine.

But I won't.

I can't vote, in good conscience, for Junior at leadoff on a team without a backup catcher, against a team which has a lineup that is balanced with speed and power with men at the top who functioned in that capacity. It affected my rankings and it affects my voting.

Vince Coleman starting in left and leading off and a Jonathon LuCroy or Bill Freehand on the bench and I might not have been able to vote for anyone against UK.

I like NOS linup & UK rotation.... Benches were almost equal in my eval. UK pen got a slight edge here.

It makes me sad I have to decide between Pedro & Rocket... In terms of advanced rate statistics, they are quite equal... Pedro has beeter numbers per games started, but I need to give the longevity pick to Clemens...

Koufax takes game two... (easily, IMO)

Kershaw, Hunter & Hubbell take 3, 4, & 5...

UK takes this series.
