I really like Milks team a lot, hard not to like a team with Grove and Bonds but I feel my lineup is better. I have probably the best 3-4 in the draft and there is no easy out. I think my rotation is also better 1-5, we just might have the best bullpens so no clear advantage there I might even lean Milk. I don't understand why Milk needed McGriff and Stargell, bad decision there, my bench is much better.

I think Milk is probably the 3rd or 4th best team in this draft. I got me...

I love nos's team obey most, but milk is a terrible matchup for him. The top of his bats ate all lefty, milk has 2 of the best lhp starters, and his bullpen is loaded with awesome lefty pitchers as well. The question is does nos have the talent to overcome the matchup issues...... I think so, I think smitty takes the 3 games against the back of the rotation and only needs to get one big game out of 4 against milks top 2. I think nos takes it. ..barely.

This was by far the hardest matchup for me to pick, and I have honestly gone back and forth on the winner. Both teams have some fantastic players. Milk has an outstanding lineup, but I do like Nos offense a little more. I like Nos bench a little more and the rotations are very close, maybe a slight edge to Nos. I actually like Milk's bullpen much more, even though Nos has a good pen, Milk has the best pen in the mock IMO. Having a little better offense and rotation give it to Nos for me, but really just by a hair. Great team by Milk

Nos

God this matchup is close. I just feel Milks pitching helps him win in it. I love the Pete Rose pick for Nos even though he always dissed me for taking him :D.

I got milk here for the win... I have been consistent on the hate on Pete rose and Kirby puckett... Even though rose is used properly...

I don't see his offense to be better than mine, i agree his bench makes more sense, but i do question why he hates the Stargell/crime dog... especially since Stargell can play the outfield...

My bench was a little harder to do than most because i already starting an elite defensive 3B,SS,2B... I would never have a defensive upgrade, so why would i draft a defensive infielder?? I really only focussed on offense, and went heavy on the lefty power...

My Bullpen is the best in the mock, and although i do think Nos has the second best, i don't think ours is close...

My biggest knock on Nos' team is David Cone... I don't get that one at all... He has only one lefty starter and then owns such a mediocre pitcher??

David Cone > Robin Roberts

Look at Cone in big games 2 - 0 with a 2.12 ERA in 5 World Series games. Higher ERA+ better SO/9. Only thing Roberts was better at was he didn't walk anyone.

Your dislike of Puckett is ridiculous. Guy was a winner period! Carried his team to two World Championships, was an excellent hitter, excellent fielder, oh wait he didn't walk 100 times a year so he sucked, I forgot, nevermind...

Puckett was a poor man's Emmitt Smith of baseball. Total compliment

Nos has a deeper rotation and better bottom of the lineup with that amazing 3 and 4 hitters in my view. Nos

Nice game Milk, I honestly do like the team you put together probably as much as any you've ever drafted in baseball.

I don't get the comparison at all but thanks I think.
Puckett is a winner, Emmitt was the ultimate team player and winner. He could have had more long runs if he went east-west, and he could have averaged a yard per carry more if he didn't run his little 5'9'' self into 9-10 man fronts in EVERY goal line and short yardage situation. So he isn't considered the best back ever, he still has the all time rushing record, TD record, and more rings than a lot of the top 10 guys combined

Fair enough.
