Carew, Mays, Miggy is really very good, I didn't understand trading to get Nolan Ryan, I just think Ritz is a lot better in the rotation, I think I probably like Mebert's lineup a bit more. Neither bench or pen do much for me. I lean Ritz his rotation the difference.

I like my bats a lot more, ritz has the better rotation. I don't think the difference is big though. I take me in this one for the same reasons I took smitty in the play in game. I thought me and Smitty had similar rosters

The trade was minor, I moved up 6 spots in round 4 and back 6 in the next round. With those picks I took Ryan and Eck. I liked the trade

I think this matchup is very tough to call. I like Meberts offense better, but like Ritz rotation much better. Mebert has a solid pen with Eck as the closer, but Ritz has an excellent pen as well. I think this series would probably go 7, and in the end, I think Ritz has enough offense to score a few more runs than Mebert would against Ritz excellent starters

I agree with Mebert that this matchup is similar to my matchup with Smitty. So since I beat a GREAT Smitty team with Cobb, The Babe, Hornsby and Fielder then I feel my dominate pitchers could beat Mays, Cabrera, Yaz and Winfield. Both benches are equal I feel as well as the bullpen. I take myself winning in 6-7 games.

I got ritz team here.. Ritz, you saw me bash your team in the other thread(not really bash), but i still like your team a lot... and more than meberts... Not a fan that he has very limited speed on his team, and i think Nolan Ryan might be the most over-rated player in these mocks... I wouldn't have him as a top 10 pitcher of all time... I do love Perry and hubbell though... But i don't think sale belongs in this mock...

You didn't bash my team you gave me your honest opinion after I asked for it. To improve in these drafts, I would like good or bad feed back on how I can improve for the future.

No arguments on Sale. I think I 3-4 years it would be different. I messed up for sure, but I would rather have a second lefty then a more established righty.

I will say I had figured I was going out in the 1st round because I was playing Smitty, and his team is a slightly better version of mine. I was shocked when he lost it. I had smitty pretty damn near winning this thing.
