I was wondering why you had Ken Anderson in there

Actually, I like Anderson more than most. I used to rank these all the time and knew I had Anderson at 10 and Manning at 8, but couldn't remember the entire list, so it just ended up with the names I could think of being inserted where I couldn't remember who was supposed to be there.

If anyone wants to see the effects of early 20th century defense on a team - just watch this season's Mariners. The frickin' left fielder already has 6 errors and it's only May 2nd.

Yeah their defense is pretty bad. I remember in that Indians series they had a ton of errors

Yeah, Beckham (SS) has 11 errors, too. He's been known to set up, take him time and then throw it into the stands. Their catcher is inept behind the plate and they have 3 players who are DHs sharing time at 1B. Coaches have even resorted to running defensive drills before games and it hasn't helped. Their defense is so bad - they average more than 1 run given up by the D a game (-39 DRS in 33 games), the White Sox are the next worst with -24 in 28 games. It's just ridiculously bad. Even routine fly balls are an adventure!

Baseball season doesn't start until the Warriors season ends. Generally that used to be in early April, but now it's held off for a bit longer. :D

I actually used to watch the majority of Giants games from about 95-2014. I'd say easily I caught 100 games plus a year, and probably went to at least a dozen or so every year from about 2000 when they opened the new stadium. Since 2015 though I've probably watched about 20 games in their entirety and only attended maybe 2-3 games. Warriors runs have made it much harder to get into the baseball season and by the time I start watching half the season's already passed and I have no idea who's on the roster. Makes it harder to get into the swing of things.

I don't know if it's because baseball is so much older than the NFL and NBA but you guys draft motherfuckers I have honestly not had one waking thought about in my entire life for mlb.
