You would have to so you could fill your starting lineup and Romo would be a bench closer, I guess, the way I read it.

I was surprised Trumbo was still there & didn't fully believe he was when I picked him. Searching for Prado in the draft picks is what made me think of Trumbo.

I don't have a problem using a bench spot for Romo. I don't need 5 bench spots anyways with a DH who can play anywhere but up the middle. Same for my first bench guy.

don't know why having a closer on the bench would hurt anyone, but to each their own.

Hope you dont have a rule about having a catcher on the bench also, lol

Its too late now most have already drafted a couple RP's. Most teams have a catcher on the bench not many carry two closers.

I think what Nos means is by having an extra unnecessary closer you have one less hitter/utility guy off the bench and some voters may look at that and grade you down a point

One possible solution is you can undraft Romo and redraft a reliever of your choosing that's still available

We are using a DH, it seems unnecessary to carry 5 bench guys when having a DH. Romo was a closer for a season & a half. The rest of his career he was a set-up man. I'll go with whatever.

It's not a big deal for me anyways. I just didn't realize all the restrictions for drafting players, seeing as I jump in here at the last minute to fill a team.

Besides, who needs pitching anyways, all my games are going to played at Coors Field.

So, I was thinking(this is where it gets scary). Since we don't have full rosters.... Maybe we have a mini draft to fill the roster with all-time guys. We all need two starters, so that'd be easy. Position players wouldn't be though. Im just trying to come up with something before we make it to hockey, golf, soccer, bowling, WNBA or 4X100 relay teams.
