MLB 14 The Show

Will get this at the same time I get PS4. Anyone else going to get it? Im stoked. Question I have though as I have never played The Show before, but I am one who takes a franchise and attempts to play all 162 games. Can you create a manager in The Show similar to creating a coach in Madden or NCAAF? Or are you stuck with whoever the real manager is or picking up a generic random one in a generated pool of managers?

I remember MLB 2k11 you couldn't create a manager, but just hire a CPU generated one.

It's ridiculous this game comes out so late on May 6th....One month after the season starts? they better held back the entire month to make the game extra amazing. Otherwise why the need to put it on shelves so late.

Usually it comes out in late February/Early March so I'm assuming there is a good reason why they held it back until May this year.

I think there is a manager mode but there is also a career mode.

I picked up the game yesterday for PS3. Through 3 games, I love it. I am a huge fan of the generated counts.

Was the release date for PS3 an entire month sooner than ps4? I thought ti was May 6th.

I think from here on out on MLB The Show games it will let you continue your previous RTTS. I don't think it can currently do previous ones because it doesn't allow old PS3 games. But starting with 14 you can continue year to year.
