Nucks have to to feel pretty good about walking over a tired Carolina team on Sunday (Schneider played really well, secondary scoring showed up in a BIG way),
while the Wild got a bag skate after losing to CBJ on Sat.
It will be interesting to see how each team responds.

Nucks play the hawks tomorrow night, so maybe we see Schneider with his 2nd straight start tonight?

Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault said, to the surprise of no one, that he would come back with Roberto Luongo in goal on Tuesday in Minnesota.

“Right now the most important game for us is Minnesota and Louie's playing,” said Vigneault at Vancouver International before the team departed on Monday



Would he consider playing back-up Cory Schneider in Chicago on Wednesday, in the second half of a back-to-back? Schneider, of course, was very good in the Canucks' 5-1 win over Carolina on Sunday, stopping, 32 of 33 Hurricanes shots. Vigneault wouldn't say who would start in Chicago, although you know he has a pretty good idea.

“Maybe I have,” he said, “but right now I'm focusing on Minnesota.”

Vigneault added, regarding Schneider:

“We had a lot of confidence in him prior to that game. He played well in the preseason. We've been getting excellent reports on him from Rollie (goaltender coach Melanson) on his work ethic and his efforts to improve his game. We felt yesterday was the right time to put him in. He played real well.”

The bottom line is know matter who plays who each game is worth two points. This game is just as important as the one against the Blackhawks. However if you're paying your goalie 10 million bucks the very least every fan should expect is that he play against the best teams in the league.
