Wilson is out for 6-10 weeks with a broken collar bone and now Miller is out for the season.

Sucks.

Rosario will be fine. One good pre-season performance, and most of it coming against the second team Eagles is hardly an indicator that he would have had a good year.

I feel worse for miller than I do for the bears offense. Everything started coming together for the guy and a promising nfl career was in the making. Then he gets a season ending injury. We weren't expecting it from him, but I seriously hope this guy recovers fully and makes it with us or another team. It's clear he worked hard on his game and could've been a weapon in several different offenses.

Good luck to this guy and I hope he finds another way to have a significant nfl career. It's clearly his dream.

Injuries are the worst. Part of the reason for the Seahawks success over the past two years is due to the fact that many key players were able to stay healthy.

Wish the Bears the best luck in staying healthy going forward.

Sorry to hear. From what I saw preseason Week 1, Zach Miller had/has a lot of potential in Chicago's offense.

Word is he was having an awesome camp, and his performance against the Eagles was a continuation of that pattern. BTW, Miller caught Cutler's TD against the first team Eagles.

Yeah, it seemed like he was coming along. Hopefully he'll be able to pick up where he left off next year.

What was his injury? Anyone know? I've yet to hear a word about what happened to him? Did his foot fall off?

Edit: I'm assuming he broke it, my wife broke a bone in her foot that took about 8 months to heal due to low volume of blood going to that particular bone, which meant healing took forever. Wonder if this was the injury?

I read somewhere that it was a lisfranc injury. Didn't hear whether it was broken (most likely) or soft tissue damage.

It is soft tissue damage, but I think he require(d) surgery. I haven't heard anything more than preliminary Dx.

They go over to europe like kobe and arod and do that blood spinning in the centrifuge and put it back in the joints to speed healing for the pro athletes.

It might not be a year injury, just too many guys hurting and only so many you can bring off of IR each year. Miller just does not have a history to believe he wont be hurt again.
