Are they firing him in order for him to join the PA and sign a contract to play in goal for them? On topic: Yeo should probably be canned because he seems to be showing too much frustration. I'm sure the frustration is immense, but you can't let the whole world know that. Not good for team morale. But yeah, they need a goalie. There are some okay options out there they could probably trade for, but none of them are gonna save the season.

You can point to any myriad of problems here... but it starts and stops with goaltending. Kuemper wasn't ready to be a #1 yet. Everything got messed up with Harding "injuring his foot" before the season began.

Additionally, the Wild's top four defenseman have played in the same game in 17 of 41. Compare that to the Blackhawks where their top 4 have played in 38.

The problem isn't just coaching.

I said this 2 months ago. Sadly management is going to wait until the damage is insurmountable to make the change.


Sure, goaltending is to blame as well. So is the fact that we have been ravished by injuries/sickness more than anyone else but it is on Yeo.


He changes shit up too often. He changes lines mid game. Rather than work on a PP he just keeps moving guys around. He doesn't coach, he tinkers. I understand moving Coyle to first line if Parise is out, I don't understand swapping Coyle and Vanek mid fucking game for no reason.


There was a stretch where Coyle, Koivu, Zucker were playing fantastic hockey together and Yeo just got "bored" with it and jumbled lines again.


Way too much talent to be in this epic meltdown mode.
