I was born at UCLA on. Tuesday and was at Dodger Stadium on a Saturday. I grew up around it and the closest I came to being a fan was after the Gibson miracle and that series win but I was 100% consumed by the Showtime Lakers back then and always partial to the Padres anyway and started going to Jack Murphy with an uncle from Ramona. Started loving the Padres in the early 90s, moved to NYC and went to see them when they played the Mets (was there when Sheffield and Hundley ducked it out at home plate), then moved to North SD County in 2000 and started doing half season tickets with another couple.

I'm tired right now and it feels different for the first time ever. I'll always love the Padres and wasn't serious about the Dodgers but I find myself watching other games when the Padres are playing. These players and Pat Murphy aren't doing it for me.
