Ford signed with the Falcons today.

Ford was a decent special teams player for us during his time here. Not outstanding enough to really stick out but he played his role. Mingo will give him a handshake and wish him luck.

Yeah, that's about right. Too bad too - I had a friend named Mike Ford - when I was young - who to my jealousy got to be a Bronco ball boy one year.

His signing seemed to be a lot of hype for not a lot of return.

I guess I didn't notice a lot of hype when we claimed him off waivers.
If people hyped the claim up I have to question them a bit because he is what he is.

But he did decent on special teams. (Not wonderful by any means)That is all he is really in the NFL to do. He isn't in the NFL for his cornerback skills... He did go on short term IR for a few weeks.
