The Crunch get a goal in the final minute of 2nd period and trail 4-2 now.

Not much action in that period with only 6 total shots between the two teams after they combined for 20 shots in the 1st.

EDIT: Just got the update. Syracuse had 12 shots in the 2nd and 22 total, and the Amerks only managed to get 3 shots in the 2nd, and 13 total.

Damn, the Crunch have stormed back with another goal in the first 2 minutes of the 3rd, and now only trail by 1. 4-3

And the Crunch tie it up at 4.

The Amerks have been unable to gererate any shots on net since the 1st period, and it might cost them the game?

And there it is, the Crunch score again to take the lead 5-4.

Amerks have only 1 shot on goal with 10 minutes left to play.

Finally, the Amerks get a goal to tie this game back up. Mancari gets his 1st of the game.

Brennan and Fologno with the assists.

Game goes to a SO, and the man that tied the game late in the 3rd for the Amerks, gets the only goal in the SO to get the win. Way to go Mancari.

Grand Rapids Griffins end up taking a seat in season opener against Milwaukee Admirals | MLive.com

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – What began as a great season opener Friday for the Grand Rapids Griffins unraveled into a great view from the penalty box.

The Griffins, playing before a sellout crowd of 10,834 at Van Andel Arena in the debut of new coach Jeff Blashill, saw a 2-0 lead against the Milwaukee Admirals slip away with poor puck handling and a string of third period penalties in a 3-2 loss.

It's a long season, and there's plenty of time for us to post a winning record against everyone but the goddamn Moose, and then get smoked by Trana in the playoffs.
