In the past few years quite a few mid majors have been up and coming, Boise, TCU, Louisville and Southern Miss come to mind.

With all of the rumbling about super conferences does anyone else feel like

this is a kick in the ass to these programs as they will almost surely be

overlooked if these large conferences come to be.

That is a huge fear for me as a BSU fan that when the SC's come, and they are in less than 5 years, we'll get left behind.

Really sucks................

if we end up with 4 super conferences, we will definitely be included, that's 64 teams and we're definitely in the top 64 but what it will prevent is new mid major powers from starting

though I do think that the Mac could become the mid major superconference because they already have 14 teams, none of which anyone else would grab. they could then take teams like Memphis and maybe ECU or something that gets left behind.

ah

We may be in the top 64 however there are bottom feeders in the current 6 conference that would get in over us.

6 AQ conferences which is already right around or slightly over the 64

Ok I d better clarify, I am just using the named schools as examples. My point is that there are and will be teams that are making the right moves and building strong programs now.

I personally think that they will be overlooked for national attention if we get to the super conference point.
