does tim want to come back?

does he want to tell more kids to fuck off?

I really am getting tired of him doing that. Everything is fine when they're competing, then when they're not suddenly they're all retarded.

i was all for giving Timmy another year, the young talent and how they were being competitive, but going 0-4 down the stretch. and a nasty 0-4 at that, 16, 16, 15, and 36 points. that's pitiful. the play in last nights game was lackluster at best. It would be one thing if they had nothing to play for, but they were playing for seeding in the Big Ten Tournament. Would have much rather had Iowa with a chance to play Wisconsin, then now having to play PSU-Mich St-Minn (2 of the 3 being the teams they lost to in the 0-4 stretch).

I can see Eichorst going either way here.

To me the writing is on the wall. If you haven't set yourself up for success by now then it's probably not going to happen. Things that stick out are players leaving early. Tim was unable to keep guys with the program that is a major red flag. And the lack of depth that had been built. As a coach you have a eye one this season and a eye on next there should be more depth so when a player like marrow goes down we reload and go. Even with success next year it's not going to be enough to convince me the Miles is the guy. To me it is going to cost more to to keep him here and I am not talking about money. And if he has lost the players what can we expect for next year more of the same I can assure you. Go get a big time coach and have him start recruiting now!

If Eichorst fires Miles then he better already have somebody with pen in hand ready to sing a contract.

God forbid we are unable to find someone who can go sub-500. It's not like a new coach would have to win that much to match what we've been at.

Personally I hate that guy. I would go after Sean Miller at Arizona. For 3.5 mill add in bonuses he's over 4mill. And the only reason I say pay these numbers is because if we don't someone else will. We have the money. We deserve a better product, something that reflects why we put 190 million into a new basketball areana.

Dana Altman. Jay Wright. Anyone I don't understand why we get skimpy when it comes to paying a coach it get us high quality wins.

I didn't realize until I saw it posted elsewhere...Dana makes almost exactly the same as Miles. He has the opportunity for something like $850K in bonuses.

Dana would be purfect. And we could better his pay. What is wrong with me thinking we should go after these types of coaches

Idk why but Dana doesn't seem like that much of a pipe dream. Just depends how much he wants to come home and how pissed he was when we passed him over before.
