Arkansas St. player/Auburn transfer Michael Dyer has been ruled ineligible by the NCAA for the 2012 season.

This is breaking news so who knows it could be wrong, but it's pretty much a unanimous report. Link will be provided soon.

He transferred from Auburn to ASU. He'll sit out this season and then have 2 years to play.

My guess is you watched/remember this play well?


Dyer was the #11 overall player and #2 rated RB according to Rivals.com

now call me dumb but i thought there was an indirect alabama transfer coming here to be "closer to home" trying to get NCAA approval. am I thinking of someone else?
