Thats only the first team foul for the Knicks which is a good indicator that the Heat have started to settle for shots. A bad sign for the Heat down the stretch as they may not get to the line enough late in this game to pull away with some FTs -- unless they force the Knicks into the penalty quick or get a couple shooting foul calls. Then they must actually MAKE the shots.
I think with DJ Jr out of rotation due to injury - Waiters and/or Ellington should start seeing more regular PT -- probably Waiters. The Heat have pushed Ellington way out of the rotation(for no reason) to this point.
But again, considering the amount of turnovers and how much the Heat have settled for 3's and just never learn - this outcome shouldn't surprise anyone.
Finally a ref calls a technical on Spo for his sideline complaining. Refs need to call him on that more often so he stops. It doesn't help the team.
As for McGruder, he's just another example of a guy that easily falls out of favor with this team while other guys can make mistake after mistake that cost the team and they don't seem to ever suffer a decrease in role/minutes.
This one is pretty much over. The Heat continue to make the same mistakes from the moment this game started -- they simply never learn from their own mistakes -- they beat themselves more than the opponent does.
