Another division game awaits in week 2

The Bills have an early season 1 PM game in Miami. There really is no way to prepare for the weather. The Fins practice in it. It will be a big advantage, especially in the second half.

I watched the Bills game. Their defense looks really hard to run on. The Fins Oline will need to have a good game to give the team a chance. They are capable of playing well. Shaheen could play and he's a very good blocking TE. The rookie Long and others had some nice blocks vs the Pats. WR Hollins can block well. They are going to need good blocking from all the players in order to not be a one dimensional offense.

Tua will have Fuller available this week. Having him and Waddle on the same field along with Parker should cause matchup problems. Gesicki is due for a few more catches. The Fins have a lot of speed and good coaches. The offense can't rely on 17 points to get Ws and they know that.

I'd like to see the Fins defense keep the Bills to less than 17 points but they can't count on it. The offense has the talent to take some pressure off the defense. Complimentary football was the winning mantra last year. That's what the team needs going forward. One of the things that I liked about the offense in the Pats game is how they made the most of their red zone opportunities with TDs.

Bottom line is that the D will have to play them better this season. Can't expect to outscore them but who knows anything can happen I guess although I wouldn't risk a shoot out. Contain Allen and put X and Jones on Diggs and Beasley. Make them beat you elsewhere and they have a damn good chance.

The Steelers were able to generate pressure with 4 Dlinemen without having to bring an extra blitzer. It will take a group effort to limit Diggs and Beasley and their other receivers.

I am thinking we could see some INTs because the Bills like to throw the ball a lot. It's also possible that the Bills try to run the ball more with DT Davis out.

I am glad that the Fins signed Jonathan Jenkins in the off-season. He's provides quality depth at NT.

Will Fuller is out of the game for personal reasons. Last week it was the dynamic duo of Parker and Waddle making plays. The Fins have some good options at WR3. I am wondering who will be another playmaker for the team.

I am not sure what personal issue he is dealing with. It could be a family matter. He hasn't practiced much with the team so far because of injury. The Fins have other WRs and plenty of TEs that can step up when their number is called.

I think he just didn't want to talk about Fuller's personal business. I wouldn't read too much into that.

The Fins will be fine. WR Wilson has never had a problem with lack of talent. It's injuries. If he is healthy on Sunday. He should be able to create separation and make plays.

I heard that his Mom is in critical condition with covid. If so no one should expect him to play. Hopefully she's ok.

It won't be their first ever 1 PM game on the road. They will be fine.

It is a family matter as to why Fuller is out. Given the reasoning as to why he is out, it may be for an extended time. He will be given all the time necessary to be ready to return.

Yes as would be the case with any of us although he may come back like Favre did and win a game all on his own.

I look at this game like playing with house money as many didn't think that the Fins would win last week. If they end up 1-1 it's not horrible but 2-0 would be fantastic!!! I see Iggy is not active I guess they want him to watch a little more to learn. Would love to see Phillips play the EarthWake role today that would be awesome.

Mac Jones will be great, but the reality is its not the Cheatriots of the past -- and they did have a few key guys out. It was not that much of a surprise to pull that one off -- the outcome of last weeks game was a toss up. No one could have really said one way or another.
