Good. he's a FA after this season. I'd love to add a healthy Merriman if Brooks doesn't have a breakout season and re-sign.

He did, but I was under the impression one of those years included the 2010 season. Let me look it up...

Correct. He signed a 2-year contract, so he'll be a FA in 2013. 10.5mil deal with 5mil guaranteed.

Never mind. He's under contract for 4 million next season too. :(

I think Glazer trained him some in the off-season and mentioned he got his legs back. He seemed to think he would do well this year.

He also got his syringes back. The lockout worked in his favor, juiced up enough because the league was no longer monitoring this situation. He took advantage of this perfect opportunity to stick his ass with a couple needles.

His teammate Danny Batten had 2 sacks as well.

I'm really excited about Merriman, it's awesome for us to see him doing good, I came into the year not expecting anything from him

Batten is someone I'd like to see more of too, he missed all of last year due to an injury but he's looked good so far.

I think he'll be around in the rotation at rush linebacker.

Aaron Maybin still a non-factor I see.

Maybin was one of those player who was 97% potential and 3% football player. To a much lesser extent it's like if someone brought in Usain Bolt to play WR.
