This was the third game Ive seen the Pacers play so far and its was far and away their worst. They had no business winning this

@Jim what game were you watching? Those last few minutes George took it to Melo and they couldn't put melo on george because he would light him up!! Melo dominated the boards though.

@Clayton, maybe not, but then clearly the Knicks had no business being in the game. Pacers shot terribly to start and were neck and neck.

Indiana schedule in the month of November has been very favorable. We will know more about them in December when they play LAC, OKC, POR, SAS (all on the road), Miami 2X, Houston, and a home & home with Brooklyn who should be playing better at the end of December than they're playing now.

George didn't do anything special tonight. He had a game similar to Melo. When you need nearly 30 shots to score under 40/45 points, I'm not impressed and Melo actually had the better overall game.

Except in that last few minutes George was playing both ends including covering Melo 1 on 1 and Martin was on George. That is when they pulled away.

Its hard to isolate the 1 on 1 matchup when George has much better players around him. Melo blew by George late only to run into Hibbert.

very true, George does have a lot better D and more players who are willing to play it.

I cannot figure out why professional basketball players shoot free throws more poorly than a lot of high school players. Poor attention to their craft.

Guess there are not any players around like Bird any more. He shot at least 200 free throws a day and usually hit at least 195 of them.
