MD vs FIU

Did anyone think MD would have 40 points in the first half? FIU looks pretty inept but I still wouldn't have guessed MD would put up 40 in a half.

The Terps still need some better play from the offensive line. Ross and Reid didn't have much running room. It sucks that Wes Brown is suspended for the season. I thought he was the best RB on the roster.

That's not saying much, considering they only managed to muster 3 points the entire 2nd half. If they put up forty on a ranked team, then, yes ... it would be hard to believe. They should have had even more points than that, in the 1st half. If anything, it should have been a shutout if not for the fumbles.

The Terps have great potential to make a run in the conference, but they still need work and have a lot to prove.

I don't think any of us are ready to call them a good team but none of us expected them to dominate like that in the first half. They were vanilla in the 2nd half. Time will tell how good they are are.
