Winstn, MM, Jags taking cooper b/c he said they solved their line issues with Ordrick and the Raiders taking Williams. Cant argue with Folwer the most complete LB in this draft.

I saw that, today. Honestly, I can see us making that pick. He intrigues me. He does everything well. He's as good a run-stopper, as pass-rusher. I believe he could be another Von Miller.

Fowler can play all the LB spots. We have no depth at ILB and OLB so the pick makes sense. I hope he is there at #5. He is a lot better than Ray and Gregory. Beasley is intriguing but he is not the run stopper that Fowler is. Plus you cant put Beasley at ILB.

These mocks are worthless, can't see why the opinions of some matter more than others. In fact, I find it more interesting when other posters on this site give their mocks vs. the so-called experts.

The only reason Fowler is somewhat credible to me is because of our defensive coordinator.
Forgot his name, but I'm sure he'll be pulling for an OLB. I'm really starting to believe Leonard will be there.
The titans are NOT passing on Mariota.

The only thing we have no control over are the browns, saints or another team leap frogging us

I think either Beasley or Fowler will be there at #5. If you are looking for a potentially elite pure pass rusher, you take Beasley. If you want the more well rounded player, you take Fowler.

Right now I see the draft going like this:

1 - FHRITP
2 - Williams
3 - Fowler/Beasley
4 - Cooper/White

As an outsider looking in (and one who values the draft over free agency LARGELY) Fowler and Beasley are somewhat clones of each other in terms of value, but there's a factor that would give a B- or so for both teams if Jax takes Fowler and Wash takes Beasley. Both need to add slight weight to transition to the respective teams' scheme, but Fowler makes that transition easier to a 3-4 than Beasley who I feel projects better as a 4-3 edge/LEO rusher. Beasley shattered the combine but that's no surprise at about 15 lbs lighter than Fowler.

If I'm trying to best predict Jacksonville Beasley makes the most sense, if I'm Washington I take Fowler who is hands down a more COMPLETE run/pass defender which is important in a 3-4 where OLBs are asked to step in during run support (much less than a LEO-4/3 DE). Both those players fit the aforementioned 4-3 scheme and 3-4 scheme respectively, better than one another. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens considering Bradley is used to ridiculous athletic prospects in which case Beasley has the edge.

To me the A grades in the FIRST round would be Beasley to Jacksonville as a replacement for Clemons and Fowler to Washington as a better overall prospect than Orakpo. But the draft is the draft. We'll see what happens. Fowler projects as an A grade to the Skins as of everything now. Hard to argue with McShay on this, he's spot on.

If Jacksonville goes exterior pass rusher (DESPERATELY needed) and passes on Beasley who projects PERFECTLY to LEO which Bradley is used to running, it'll be hard to grade that a B higher. Williams is also a good fit as is Cooper for Jax.

After reading up on the guy I wouldn't object. Fowler looks like a good fit for the defense.
