Can someone explain to me how the fuck this guy didn't get nominated for the Jack Adams this year? He brought the team back from 10th place to 2nd in the Conference and he got the team to their third straight division title. How is this guy not a coach of the year candidate? Fuck east coast bias.

That's true but I don't even mean eastern conference vs. western conference when I say east coast bias. Vigneault is deserving and I suppose Bylsma deserves a nod getting the Pens in without Crosby and Malkin, but I'm not sure why Trotz deserved it over TMac.

Meh. McLellan is a damn good coach. A Jack Adams isn't needed to determine that.

The award always goes to the guy that does the most with the least (NSH, PIT), or the guy that does the most with the most (VAN). TMac doesn't fall into either category this season. He did a great job righting the ship in December, but one could say the ship shouldn't have steered of course in the first place.
