Bout fuckin time.
Its too late......he can't stop the run. He can't rush the passer. He isn't a coverage guy. Cut the cord ans seeif you can get a 5th rd pick for him.......if you can grab it without laughing
The kid is a gifted athlete with top notch speed.
I think he would excel as a 3-4 LB

I like it because i would like to see us get some use outa him as a first round pick.
I still think he lacks the strength to shed blockers, but maybe on the edge or in coverage he can get something done??
Gotta give it a shot. He clearly isn't cut out to play DE, and his trade value is probably next-to-nothing, particularly versus what he's being paid..
Our LBs are a mess right now....Bostic and Greene looked lost all season...DJ is injury-prone...Anderson is average.
Man, I can't wait for FA and the draft.

You want to know something, everyone who plays LB is having this issue. Willis in the playoffs, I watched a Guard maul him on a run play, took him out of the play. From what I've read this year, the movement of the Ref from behind the D line to behind the QB has allowed the O lineman to hold LB'ers more with far less penalty calls. Literally bear hugging the LB'ers for a brief time, time enough to keep them out of disengaging and moving toward the ball carrier.
But, Shea has had a least a year of trying to shed O linemen... He has practiced, heh.
