Why did this get a Rodney Dangerfield shout out and my last post didn't??
The Rodney pic was reffering to my "I'm going to Hawaii" remark where he is at the harness races, bets on a long shot who is way out in front and he keeps saying "I'm going to Hawaii, I'm going to Hawaii" then the jockey puts both feet down and slows the horse and comes in last...............funny stuff if you never seen the movie "Easy Money"!

The teams that move down will depend on the tournament results. Everything is up in the air until then.

As for teams moving up, the regular season is guaranteed a spot, but by the looks of it the A league is serious about making sure that only 2 teams switch. There is a long way to go still.
Looking at the A league standing, all it will take is one bad week for most of us to be on the bottom..........and yes, it is still very early!

And bad weeks are easy to find. Four weeks in and I have won 3 of 4 matches but the fourth was a 0-10 drubbing from Fudpuckker.

In protest of my first loss (you guys can blame TKO), I am not doing a recap this week. Instead, here is a look at how the 2 leagues compare by category (bolded league is ahead):

Runs- A: 1696, B: 1657
HR- A: 397, B: 380
RBI- A: 1592, B: 1517
SB- A: 264, B: 259
OBP- A: .335, B: .334

W- A: 148, B: 153
K- A: 2401, B: 2374
S- A: 136, B:134
ERA- A: 3.31, B: 3.35
WHIP- A: 1.213, B: 1.215

That is 9-1 in favor of the A league for those counting at home. Some of the cats are really close, but you prospects are going to need to do better if you want more than 2 teams to move up.

Good luck Jim with Fister.... I keep dealing away DL guys.... going to regret it all later.
League is tough... every week is crucial, at least that's how I'm playing them.

:)

I have a feeling this week could be just like that for me. Last year I got beat 10-0 once..........by a struggling Ramtough..............kicked the shit right out of me!

Paul's two trades today are looking eerily similar...damaged pitching for OF speedsters.

I totally agree. Even though it's still early, falling too far behind is big trouble.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm happy with Fister but I would have been content with Lynn as well. I'm all about the pitching this year.

Yup, I did that last year. And each week you keep telling yourself "one big win and I'm back in this thing".....but that big week never comes:L

Solid staff Jim... looks something like my money league team.

Kershaw
Wainwright
Scherzer
Cashner (tried all day to turn Cahsner and/or Ventura into Strasburg today...no luck)
Ventura (my upgrades weren't enough for him Yelich/Asdrubal for Springer/Miller...I don't think I'll up it to Bruce)
Jansen
Street

Bauer
Gausman
Lincecum

Yeah, I was wondering this morning what Matt Williams was thinking...

haha, actually I was quoting another Matt... Berry from Fantasy Focus on ESPN... something he doesn't do for baseball anymore, and Cockroft and Karabell are terrible in their (Berry/Ravitz) place... anyone listen and agree?

Singleton went deep again tonight.
Polanco with another two hits.
Taveras is back in CF, and homered as well.
Grant Green playing LF again (that's 2b, SS, 3b and LF this month)
My boy Cron went 0-fer.

Alex Meyer with 11 more K's for Rochester, come on Minny.
Gausman looks great.
Bauer looks great.

the minors are a hoppin'!!! I hope they come a knockin'!

haha, you're worse than me! haha
I saw that Taveras went back to CF (and then dropped Gausman for him)
Singleton HAS to be up soon. I own his stock in 4 of my 5 leagues so I'm really begging!
I love Meyer too...it's true, there are just a ton of great prospects on the way.
I keep watching to see if they throw Mookie Betts in the outfield... that'll be the first sign that he'll help this year.
So many prospects, so little time
