Wow....I just saw that you were a Tigers fan.....no way I would of taken Trout over Miggy if I were a Tiger fan.....I kind of like the Tigers a bit myself and am happy you took Trout. I understand the consensus being that Trout is slightly "better" pick at #1, but when two players are very close to same value, I usually go homer and take the guy I prefer rooting for.

Prince not being there to protect him was a factor. 14 homer uptick when he saw more strikes on account of the Big Fella behind him. Not sure how much of gap there will be between the two powerwise this year. (OBP and runs seem like a wash) Steals were a bigger factor. Standard scoring and I would have went with my guy. surprised myself tbh. (3rd base eligibility was Miggys best +, and I usually avoid outfielders early.). A little concerned about the offseason repairs too. That huge frame has to wear down eventually. (I shouldn't have even thumbed that part out.)

You didn't come after my speed that time. I just couldn't have Kelly Johnson be my only option at 3B.

Nope, came after some serious power. I could offer Prado (I really don't want to though) but not with Kimbrel. Maybe Robertson or Jansen. The speed I can only come after once my crowded outfield is thinned out.

Fair enough. I'm set at the corners...Votto, Encarnacion and Freeman! I just need Freeman to live up to that deal.

That's a nice trio you've got. I like Freeman a lot. But since I reached for Abreu Im set at my corners too. (Would like to be able to let Prado float around, but he's stuck at third for me.)
