So this years Marcus Smith. I heard this rumor yesterday. Everyone was talking about a lot of reaches by Chip earlier in the process. So might not be a shock if Chip does something like this tomorrow night.

I've watched some tape on him and while I do like his speed/quickness in coverage, he isn't much of a tackler. Give me Marcus Peters all day if the draft falls like Mayock has it. Hearing that CB Kevin Johnson could be gone by 20 depresses me ... that's who I want!

His tackling is piss poor....I think he is Nate Allen like.

Chip seemed to love Nate Allen too. This would be a reach. Second round, maybe, but he does not meet Chip's size standards.

He is the best cover safety in the draft. Some "experts" have mentioned that he could be converted to CB. I've watched many of his games, the guy is a playmaker & can cover with the best of them. He isn't a great tackler, but by no means is he a poor tackler either.

I just watched a bunch of tape on Randall he looks fast, he looks like he plays the football well...but he looks light, smallish, and can be flat out run the fuck over.

He ain't no Dawkins that is for damn sure....Looks very very similar to Nate Allen coming out of college.

He is small, I agree. But he's not THAT small, Jimmy Ward plays SS for the 9ers and he's the same size. Really, Randall is 10lbs away from being the same size as Dawkins/Ed Reed. The talent is there.
