I have no doubt SDSU is going to be fired up about this game and want it really, really bad.

Arizona is the best in the west (because UCLA is down right now), you know that, I know that, and one game will not determine it. Sometimes I think SDSU fans think that history means nothing. You are a great little program, but you're still just that, a little program who is improving every year and making huge strides. I don't know if you've even ever been to an elite 8, let alone a final four, and it takes a breakthrough like that to even be in the conversation.

i get all that, but to bill it as a best in the west game is simply not correct. Do you think that Butler is better than UNC this season because they upset them today? Of course not. They outplayed them today. that's all.

SDSU very well might beat us today. But you're not better than us, and won't be by the end of the season, thus it would be very silly to say that today's game will determine the best team in the west for the year
