You'd be the only person in a UNC thread, talking to yourself.

I'm not convinced Shaub being out takes them out of the bye race. I just looked at their schedule and it's pretty easy. 4 of their 6 remaining games are against Jax, Car, Ind, and Ten. The other 2 are Atlanta and Cincinnati. Granted it's been against easier competition, their defense is playing some really good football. And with the great running game and Johnson coming back this week, they should be able to protect Leinart enough to handily win those 4 easier games putting them at 11-5 at worst to finish the season.

I still think they'll win the division. I think they'll lose a game or two too many though for a bye.

Despite the preseason doubters (you hearing me Tubbs?), the Texans defense has been very good. That said, I could see them losing to any of those teams (Indy is a stretch, but with Leinert under center anything is possible). I wouldn't be shocked to see a complete collapse.

Hey sue me. I was wrong. I just didn't see a D coming together that quickly with a change to a 3-4 and no good DB's last year.

I was just busting your chops..... They did stink on D previously, but Wade Phillips is an awesome D-coordinator.

He and Norv Turner are the best examples of awesome coordinator/terrible HC.

Don't forget...they still have a pretty freakin' good running game, too.

If you could get Norv as your OC and Philips as your DC along with a HC like either Harbough you'd have an amazing coaching staff.

I believe 11-5 this year will be enough for a bye. I might say 12-4, but there are way too many big divisional games left to be played throughout the AFC.

Yeah however Leinart is bad. How bad has yet to be seen. Teams will put 8-9 in the box and make Matty beat tham. I say they drop an easy game somewhere.

10 wins in the AFC and you're in. We need to go 4-3 in the last 7. Should be easy enough.

We might have 3 teams in the north along with 2 in the east with 10 wins. One of them will be out.
