They didnt sign him they were looking for a QB and Flynn was avail cheaper then Palmer so they took a risk. Flynn has looked terrible while Pryor is getting people excited its kinda a no brainer....


The real Egg on his face was drafting Wilson in the 4th round and then he doesnt make the final cuts he gets beat out by a UFA.

Has anybody done more with less the Flynn? He had ONE good game in GB, got paid by the seahawks last year big money, then got paid by the raiders this year big money.

Gotta respect it actually,,, he'll probably sign on somewhere to backup for the league minimum. Not a bad gig, he got what 15Mill from sea/oak, continue to get the minimum from whoever.

disagree.. Seattle is the team that took a chance on Flynn. Seattle got lucky with Wilson falling in their lap. however, raiders knew what they were getting with Flynn. they were getting a QB that lost his job to a rookie .

Palmer was never going to be the option he wanted out that is why he wouldnt restructure his contract. The min he was traded to the Cards he re worked his deal because he didnt want to be on the Raiders. So either way Raiders needed QBs most people agreed that Flynn was the best out there avail they gave up a low pick for him and it was basically replaced by the one the Raiders received from the Cards. Granted it didnt work out but its not like some other QB was avail and at the time Pryor had shown nothing to warrant trust
