/as a canuck fan, its hard not to move towards the realm of considering that maybe Duchene made Hodgson a better player than he really is ... I just hope Hodgson gets healthy and dispells that thought

I still expect to see someone give him the lights-out treatment before too long.

You are right, he does have his head down a lot. What I haven't figured out though, is if he does it on purpose to fool the defender(s) or not. Either way though, he is living very dangerously.

As per the smug comment, never heard an interview with the kid, but I feel the same way about Eberle. He made a couple of comments that I thought were in poor taste during the last WJHC's.

On a completely unrelated note, it's been awhile, so I hope all is well Puck.

kid just started private school a couple of weeks ago, and looks so damned cute in the uniform.

on the hockey front, I keep reading about all of the new guys coming on the team, and wonder where everyone is going to go... Hodgson (healthy?), Malhotra, Torres, Morrison, Oreskovich, Volpatti, and a lower level of Shirokov, Tambellini, Perrault, Schroeder, Sweatt. That's a hell of a lot of bodies to fight for a few spots in the bottom six!

oh well, a wealth of depth is better than the alternative.
