Honestly, though, the team isn't going all in this year, they just aren't. They are limping and hoping to catch one on the river. Might happen, probably won't. They have plenty of goodwill recently, and they are playing the long game. Look for one big time pitcher (at least) to be signed with Lincecum and Hudson's money next year)

One is a lock. Two is possible, or maybe the second will be a next tier down guy like Samardjiza or Latos or Kazmir or Norris.

I forgot Cain so they really have only 2 spots to fill.

No structural damage, "2 week thing". That is huge news since it very well could have been Tommy John. DL stint, hopefully Peavy is good to go his next start, and Vogey can take Cain's spot.
