Matt Barnaby arrested for domestic... incident

Amherst Police responded to a location at 6:15 p.m. and found serious damage to property. The location is being kept private to protect two female victims, who police say were not injured.

The former right winger was arrested and charged with second degree criminal contempt, harassment, second degree criminal trespass, and second degree criminal mischief. Police say after leaving the location, he made angry phone calls, and Barnaby has also been charged with aggravated harassment via a cell phone.

Think he'll get fired? He didn't hurt anybody. Maybe just went a little nuts. Also, what the hell is "second degree criminal contempt"?

Also the DOJ statistics show that DV is two way street. Many men are victims of DV, I have a friend that was in a marriage like that. He was married to a beautiful woman but she was as violent as hell behind closed doors when she didn't get her way.

There are wayyyyy too many people that when they hear "domestic violence" assume the male is the perpetrator.

That's a problem Jeff. As little boys we are told you do not hit girls. In a physical confrontation with a female if she shows the cops a bruise on her arm because the male grabbed her in a defensive posture HE usually ends up with the cuffs on and sent of to the tank. There was a case like this where HE called 911 and when the cops got there she showed a bruise and away he went.

Another problem was where the cops would say "Oh c'mon you're 6 feet talk you can't handle her?" and if they do, again he gets taken away.

Alot of this has changed the last few years now that DV is refereed to as DV and not automatically "Battered wife violence"

Edit: That's why I HATE Oprah, she makes every man out to be a brutal maniac.she should spend more time looking at the girls schools in Africa she opened and the sexual abuse that was going on there on more than one occasion by FEMALE teachers.
