He's been ruled out for the weekend now too. This isn't just a "sore back". Now the media saying "back injury".

New Jersey GM Lou Lamoriello was adamant Wednesday that goaltender Martin Brodeur had not suffered a setback during his recovery from a back injury.
"No. Absolutely not. In fact, the opposite," Lamoriello said Wednesday. "No setback. That I can assure you." Brodeur isn't listed as being day-to-day anymore and an exact return date doesn't appear to be clear at this time. "It's his back. You know backs. He was day to day and now the doctors feel he needs to rest a little more," Lamoriello explained. "When will he come back? Will it be three days, four days, five days? It could be a week from now. We don't know. He was day to day. It's just taking a little longer. He just didn't feel better." Still, the Devils believe Brodeur is heading in the right direction. Mar 7 - 7:37 AM

Yeah they were throwing out theories last night, possible pinched nerve or something, but who knows. Hopefully we can maintain a playoff spot and he'll be ready to go by then.

Damn, sucks because he was really playing great before the injury.
He gave the team a huge advantage by playing the puck. You can see how without him, the defense does stuggle in the zone more.
Hedberg was good last night. Hope he continues.
