Looks like Lynch pled guilty to a lesser charge of reckless driving. Small fine, driver safety class and he's done.

I highly doubt he'll be suspended.

Looks like that will be the end of it. Glad that's over and he never got the DUI which would have probably got him suspended. They agreed on charging him with a "Wet reckless". I'd never heard of that before but its a much lesser charge.

Basically, in terms of punitive ($$) damages and what your auto insurance gets a record of, it's reckless driving. However, if he gets another alcohol related driving infraction, this court outcome will factor into whatever punishment that is handed out in the next trial. Basically, if he gets charged with another DUI, the court will bend him over.

1.) Learn your lesson and don't do it again.
2.) Repeat stupid mistake and pay high priced lawyers even MORE money to keep your ass out of jail.

I've seen different friends take each path. When I got my "wet" negligent driving conviction some 17 years ago, I chose option #1. I hope Marshawn does the same.
