The Pens are dropping like flies. They finished last night's game with their enforcer having almost 9:00 minutes of ice time because they lost three forwards during the game.

Tangradi got a call-up, and the hero from last nite, Jeffery, will be sure to be back in the lineup.

Poulin played last night so Dipietro will probably be in goal.

Kyle Okposo is back in the lineup. He had 2 goals & an assist last night in the ATL.

My team will give it everything they've got. They always give maximum effort. Unfortunately Dipietro wonders a lot. Giving the opposing team usually at least 1 goal per game.

Fleury has been unbelievable of late. I hope Johnson is between the pipes for the Pens.

I'm not about to feel sorry for a team that tanked to get Lemieux. Only got Jagr because my team won a game in OT on the final day of the season & were able to get Fleury, Malkin & Crosby in back to back to back years.

I can't help but notice the irony, here. The Isles have picked in the top 5 for the past three seasons, one of which was the #1 overall pick.

Every team goes through bad stretches. I don't expect you to feel sympathy towards my team, but lets not act like they are the only ones who have sucked.

And as far as trading away a first rounder... all I can say is they better make it worthwhile, because if they don't, they'll be right back in the same bind they were in to begin with.

Garth traded down twice because the team needed to restock the cupboard.

The funny thing is the guy who made those easy selections wasn't kept around to enjoy the fruits of his so called labor & understandably so. Craig Patrick had it easy.

Patrick had some easy slam-dunk picks in MAF Sid and Geno, but he failed miserably towards the end of his run with the team. Not to mention poor trades.

Patrick didn't deserve to be kept around. Ray Shero took the young talent and surrounded them with a great supporting cast. Ultimately, that's what it takes to contend in the NHL. All-stars alone aren't going to win you cups.

One of the reasons I think Scotty Bowman is an overrated coach is because for the most part he coached not just good teams but GREAT ONES.

It's not like Johnson is a bad goalie. He was great in the beginning of the year. Of course it might help the Isles a bit. MAF has been outstanding of late. Tavares hasn't had a goal in a couple of weeks he's due.
