So Acta is clearly worse than Servais why the fuck didnt he challenge that he was clearly out

I agree- am interested in hearing what he has to say about that at post game. I wish Z would have re-acted more strongly and maybe it would have pushed him to let NY take a look.

Apparently they are saying a communication error, but I dont really care thats a play you challenge

Acta post game said the prob with the 6th inning and not challenging the call at home plate was a "communication" issue on the phone and there was a misunderstanding. WTF? He said he didn't want to point fingers so either he goofed up or someone else did. Gonzo was asked a few times about that goof up and he just kept saying it's not his call to make but I kind of got the feeling he was a little pissed about it.. If it would have been challenged who know what NY would have come back with but on one of the replay views it showed Z clearly tagged him for an out at the plate. What a shame that happened because it may very well have changed to outcome of that game. Oh well, maybe we can take game two?

I meant more the play, I heard the radio guys explain it was a communication error. Which is complete BS but whatever, it is impossible to make an error, it is either challenge or don't, there isn't a gray area there.

Play at the plate, Haniger threw him out from home the ump called him safe, the replay clearly showed him out and Acta refused to challenge

What a bunch of shit - the ump at the plate just pisses me off. Healy swung and the ball hits the dirt but the ump doesn't see it and calls Ryon out for the 3rd strike when a replay clearly shows the ball hit the dirt. What a crock
