Lablanc got his ass out of that base loaded fiasco. I can't figure out why Servais didn't pull him when he was obviously getting into deep do do. It could have been a fucking disaster but Servais lucked out on that one. It's easy to see the difference between Scioscia and Servais. Scioscia pulled his starter long before the shit hit the fan and Scott just let it ride.

Sometimes you have to let your guys get out of the shit they're in. It builds confidence and tonight it worked. Justin Upton was 2 for 22 against LeBlanc.

I'm out on the east coast working so it was tough to stay up, but I did see the beginning of the game so thats all I can really speak of in terms of what I saw. The fact that the Angels immediately went up two in the first was initially discouraging, but the M's come right out and the Boomstick said shove it up your ass! Say what you will about Scotty's ability to manage a bullpen or lineup, but he has these guys believing in themselves no matter the circumstance. We roll over in previous years after going down like that in the fashion that they did to a contending team, but not a Servais squad. These guys are legit, I don't know how they keep doing it but the team chemistry has to be a big part.

Those are the kind of games the M's generally lost... Travel back from the East Coast to play a team that didn't travel far at all... Fall behind 0-2 in the 1st inning... 19 come-from-behind victories is incredible so far... "Refuse to Lose"

This current team plays hard. They hustle. They play with a lot of heart. It was evident by the fact that a baserunner was able to score from 1B on a routine play by the laziness of the TB outfielder this past series.

Cano is especially gifted and talented and it makes the game looks easy for him, but his nonchalant plays irks me.

I don't think they have necessarily played any better as much as it's been continuing the same level in play while losing Cano. Keep in mind that Cano was replaced by a gold glove second baseman while Dee was replaced by a better defending center fielder that has held his own at the plate. Not to take anything away from Robbies ability, but we had a more than adequate replacement sitting in center.

The starting pitching sans Felix has been much better since he's been out. Having Dee at 2nd base also helps the defense.

This is what I was going to say. The pitching has been incredible since he first got hurt. One thing we can all point to is the offense hasn't been consistent at all since he has been gone but the defense has been amazing as well as the staff.

He’s a #9 hitter and a backup. You sorta expect him to suck. The best you can hope for in that situation is he wouldn’t hit into a DP but he did.

It is weird. The non hustle thing by Cruz is understood, coming from a big guy myself, the CANO non hustle. I don't get it. You are NOT that old Robbie.
