And total ERA is dropping fast. So it goes when your pitchers decide to give up.

Through 101 games, the Mariners rotation has recorded 40 quality starts and 16 ultra-quality starts. In the 29 games since I last posted the results, the rotation has thrown 16 quality starts. That's a 55% rate, compared to only 33% through the first 72 games. So, our rotation is going deeper into games and it is probably due to Felix and Paxton who have combined to throw 10 QS in 13 starts in the past 29 games.

(Note, James Paxton currently has six consecutive quality starts, the longest such streak by any Ms pitcher this year.)
