Some teams just have a hard time bringing in crowds regardless of team performance. I went to a Tampa Bay Rays game a couple of nights ago and expected the lack of attendance to be the stadium (figured that was why they were pushing for a new one) but to tell you the truth I actually liked the stadium a lot and noticed a strong lack of fan support.
Well that stadium holds over 63,000 so regular season games in Oakland are probably always gonna look sparse. For the record, The A's drew more fans that The Mariners last year. Makes sense, given their great performance last year.
