Excited to see hart and Romero, and I'm happy Morrison isn't in the lineup.

Not so sure you should be happy about Hart at this point, but I will reserve judgement for now. This will be the lineup against most Lefty Starters. It will be interesting to see if it is the same tomorrow or not.

MLB Debut for Romero. Wilson is a tough lefty so this will be a good test. Good lefty starters will likely be a challenge for us all year.

Hart has already worked the pitch count better than Morrison. He's already gotten 5 pitches off him. Better then Whiff Morrison.

Been in Florida enjoying the sun so I don't get the Mariners games, but taking a look at the box score from the past two games I've been extremely pleased with Smoak's performance.

Smoak just looks different (at least for now). He just looks like a hitter up there and the prospect he was supposed to be when we grabbed him. He always looked so timid at the plate.

I think the big thing for Smoak was "STOP TRYING TO KILL IT!" Work on getting hits and a feel for the strike zone. The homers with his power will come. He just looks MUCH more confident at the plate.

I can tell Cano and him have become BIG buds. They are constantly chatting these last two games, laughing together. And Smoak seems to be hanging around Cano asking him for advice. I know Cano worked with him a lot in the offseason and it's HUGE for Cano. Unless Smoak can become a dangerous threat, teams will just keep walking Cano lol.

Been a long time believer in Smoak and Ackley. Always loved Smoak's patience and discipline at the plate and his raw power. He looks more confident at the plate for sure just taking what the pitcher gives him and working counts until he gets the pitches he likes.

Ackley ever since the second half of last year his swing and approach is just different. He doesn't try to pull the ball anymore when they're drilling him on the outside. He may never develop anymore than 10-15 hr power, but he sure does have gap power. Every time e makes contact it just seems like he really drills the ball. Also like that he's utilizing his speed now too.
