I haven't watched any M's games since game 6 of the losing streak, but looking at the stats, it looks like the M's have hit a couple of weeks of winning thanks mainly to an inordinate amount of 1) capitalizing on opposing team errors, and 2) hits with men in scoring position.

The sabr numbers are consistently horrible from top to bottom for this team offensively. Pretending that's going to change or that the luck they've had lately will keep up is delusional.

2 runs in 25 innings. so weird.

yeah, it was a very good trade considering lee was a loaner pitcher

the m's were a loser club going nowhere, and they would've been idiots to not trade. the market was thin, and the rangers made by far the best offer. that's a fact, no matter what ignoramuses pontificate.

would've been nice to get davis in hindsight, but it was a very wise trade at the time.

idiots will never understand.

i hate z and the front office, but that wasn't a blunder in any way.

The Yankees proposed deal was better than the Rangers, the market wasn't thin as opposed to Jack trying to get the apex prospect. It took for him to toss in the M's best reliever to get Smoak. Just Lee for with the deal would've been ok, but the value on Lee and Lowe warranted a top prospect, an average prospect and a Willie Bloomquist type guy. Just as Jack trading a young all star pitcher for a catcher who is a horrible defensive player. As good as Edgar was, no team would give up an all star pitcher for him.

not sure streaky is the right word

the 2 week fluke stretch of winning ball was the anomaly amidst much longer periods of losing...for about a decade.

Since May 13 they have:

Lost 4 in a row
Won 4 of 5
Lost 5 of 7
Won 8 of 9
Lost 5 in a row
Won 3 in a row
Lost 2 in a row
Won 10 of 12
Lost 5 of 7

This just seems to be what this team is. I think over 90 games is a good sample size of that. Do get to high or to low depending on the current status

That's 29-22 for a .569 winning percentage.....not bad

Yeah, I'm smarter than your idiot ass.....I honestly thought anyone would be better running the Mariners than Howie and Chuck but now I see it could be worse. You are so fucking dumb...
