I may be the only person who just got Dayton in the Sweet 16 right.

Hey mutigers, if you go to SeeBS, where you filled in your brackets, you can scroll over 'Setup' and click on 'Scoring and Rules'.

Either way, here's how they work...

The Bracket Manager product allows several different scoring options. Using the Weight option, you can enter a value for each correct pick for each of the rounds. If you want all correct picks to be worth one point, just enter 1 for each round in the Weight column. The Bonus column allows you to select:

No Bonus - Only the input weight value will be credited for a winning pick.

Add Seed - The seed of the winning team is added to the correct pick total.
Ex. If the 12th seed wins and your weight is 1, then 13 points would be credited for the Win.

Multiply Seed - The seed of the winning team is multiplied by the correct pick total. Ex. If the 12th Seed Wins and your weight is 2 then 24 points would be credited for the Win.

Shortly after sending invites I contacted tf12 to ask for help with the rules setup. We decided to apply 'Multiply Seed' for Rounds 2 and 3 and 'Add Seed's' for all remaining Rounds with the associated 'Weight' as follows:

Round 2 'Multiply Seed' with a weight of 2.

Round 3 'Multiply Seed' with a weight of 2.

The Sweet 16 is an 'Add seed' with a weight of 4.

The Elite 8 is an 'Add Seed' with a weight of 8.

The Final Four is an 'Add Seed' with a weight of 16.

The Championship Game is an 'Add Seed' with a weight of 32.

All rules were in place to view long before the bracket cutoff.

Note: Round 1 was not part of the bracket challenge. These were Play in Games and none of us were able to pick any of the Play in Games.

Thanks Vita for the rules and the game. I can't figure out any seeding or points or anything, I just try in this wacky tournament, who will win. It is fun and that is why March Madness is in a class of their own.

There are still some battles to be won.

Second place still hangs in the balance and can be won by either bluepigpen or Red_Chaos however Blue can land no worse than third place.

If Blue takes second than Third, Fourth & Fifth will be between Red, Mamba & Mutigers.

If Red takes second than Fourth and Fifth will be between Mamba & Mutigers.

Sixth will either Mutiger or Ice and Seventh is either between Vita or Ice with the other taking last place.
