Yea. Nebraska is in.

The win over Wisconsin punched the ticket no doubt.

Now we need to try and seed ourselves.

There's no reason we can't win the B1G tourney.

I think Nebraska will be a 10 this morning. If they can win their quarter final maybe up to an 8.

The 8/9 spot would be bad.

I'm hoping for 10 to be honest.

Win the tourney and get a 6 or 7 would be even more gooder.

Lunardi still thinks we need 1 more.

I think he's wrong.

I can not see a scenario where a top 4 team, who gets a first round bye in their tourney, and plays in one the 2 or 3 best basketball conferences in the country does not get into the big dance.

Yea, I've been saying that all along. just my put them back in a play in game, but 99.9% sure they are in now. Seeing how they are playing, I can see them get to championship game. Team is playing and peaking at right time. Not bad for a team that was picked to finish 11th or 12th in league preseason polls.

Oregon's big win over Arizona moved them off the Last Four Byes to a #8.

I swear though, Lunardi doesn't even watch basketball or something.

The other day he said we were 17-12 and needed to get to 19-12 to get in.

Well obviously we were 18-11 and he was wrong......now we are 19-11 and he says we need 1 more?

To get off the bubble and be guaranteed a spot.

He has us 5 spots from being out right now.

6, but who's counting? Nebraska just got "It's biggest win in program history".

Nebraska could get bounced out, but the Wisconsin win will be revered as it's biggest win ever for years to come.

amirite?

No, I want Nebraska to do something they've never done and that's get to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.

I don't think we realize the implications of this game yet. I could see this being a point from which our program takes off. Everyone and their dog was more excited for this game than any Nebraska basketball game that I can remember. Bracket people were saying win this one and you're in. The crowd showed up hours before tipoff and poured their hearts into the game. Does that alone make it a huge game? No. A big game, yes. But not huge.

What makes this game huge in my opinion is looking at the other side of the coin...what if we lost? We lose that game to Wisconsin after all the hype and all the buildup, and what would people say? There's the Nebraska basketball that we know. And then the next time we are in that situation people will be slower to jump on board. That game was huge because if we lose it, I think it sets the program back in a big way. They won it though. There's no arguing that this is not the Nebraska basketball we've known for the last decade.

:L Horrible analogy comparing a regular season win to a national championship season.

Do you really want me to explain it to you again?

Wisconsin was a big game/win for sure. However, in the overall picture it was no bigger than the Northwestern game last week. Without the Northwestern win Nebraska is sitting on 18 wins and no where on the bubble even with the Wisconsin win. Maybe Next Four Out at best.

The Wisconsin fan called it Nebraska's biggest game in the "history of the program" before it was even played. I called him on it and you guys agreed with him it's the "biggest game in the programs history".

Your out of your fucking minds ignorant if you think winning a regular season game is the "biggest win in program history". It's not even Top 5.

In your theory, Northwestern fits the same description. A must win.
If Nebraska loses to Ohio St or Purdue and gets bounced off the NCAA bubble, enjoy your "biggest win in program history" because I'll be sure to remind you that it wasn't even enough to make the tournament like the wins in the 90's (the real biggest wins in program history) were.

Y'all are worse than Dirk yet you bash him to pieces. You are literally him without the podium.

We were supposed to lose that game.

That team has beaten 5 out of 6 teams this year that are currently ranked in the top 25.

They also do it on the road and don't really care where they have to play you. It was the biggest win in a long time.....that is all there is to it.
