Maple Leafs VS Sabres GNT

The Sabres start a 6 game homestand by playing the Leafs tonight. This will keep them playing at home for the rest of the month.

The Sabres and Leafs both played last night against the top teams in their division, and they both walked away with a win. The Sabres showed a lot of heart and no quit as they came back from being down 2-0 during the game to send it to OT. From there they came back from being down 2-0 in the shootout and won thanks to a great shot by Hecht.

Miller should be in net tonight to avenge his poor performance last Sunday against the Isles. Miller has won 12 of his last 13 starts against Toronto, compiling a 1.53 GAA and two shutouts. The Sabres have won 13 of the last 14 times as well against the Leafs.

Drew Stafford has remained red hot and he now has 19 goals in his last 22 games, including 4 hat-tricks. Here's hoping he and the rest of the team can lay on some scoring.

With a win tonight and a Canes loss, the Sabres will claim the 8th spot in the East. Nothing much left to say other than.......

This game scares me because of the law of averages. The Leafs have to beat the Sabres sooner or later, I think the Sabres have won 13 of the last 14 from Toronto.

I do agree with you IPW, They showed me a lot in the last few weeks because I had them dead in the water. Both teams coming off impressive road victories over the two top teams in the division.

Stafford is on fire ! and they have improved the PP over the last few month's.

This should be a good one.

It's been awhile since Miller lost to the Leafs. He finally got a day off so he should be well rested.

Miller has had a lot of ups and downs this season, but I think it has a lot to do with a piss poor defense playing in front of him that always assumes he can bail them out every night.

Coming back against Montreal last night has to give the Sabres a lot of confidence. However the Leafs have been playing better of late as well. It's a great rivalry & should be a fun game.

There was a Kessel sighting last night so he might be a problem.

Law of averages? If we are going there, then the law of averages says after a strong performance last night in Boston, this will be another team collapse tonight for the Leafs in Buffalo. However I do have a good feeling about tonight for some reason. 3-2 Leafs, why not!
