Manny Malhotra signs tryout agreement with Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League - NHL.com - AHL Update

I wish nothing but the best for Manny. If he does well in the AHL, I would love it if Dougie could make a run at him to help out the bottom 6. Manny was my favorite player on that 2009-2010 team, he proved to be a valuable asset and was a huge part of the chemistry of that team. I was disappointed when he left but at the same time was OK with Dougie not giving him 7.5 million dollars. Not sure if you guys were aware of his attempt to comeback to the NHL but as far as I can remember he was a board favorite when he was here so I thought you guys would like to know. That is if you didn't know already.

Hope he does well. He's always been a good player and person. It's nice to know the eye injury is healed up enough that he can attempt to get back into hockey.
