I wasn't nominated for the Lady Byng trophy for nothing. We are all New Jersey Devils fans here. No need to fight with each other. Sure, this season has sucked balls but the team is playing better of late. We have something to look forward to. We're still going to get a great draft pick. Hockey isn't like the other pro sports. Teams don't stay down as long, especially teams like the Devils. Living near Philly, take the Flyers for example. 2006-2007 they finished last in the league for the first time in their history and look at what they've done since. This Devils team will be in the hunt next season. I guarantee it. Wouldn't hurt to get Parise signed ASAP.

As a Flyers fan I can tell you that it can be turned around that quickly. Since that dismal season we have been (actually should be) very happy fans. The injury to Parise probably hurts worse than you all think. In addition there was some serious change over on the defense. I always liked Martin and he was not sufficiently replaced. Sign a stud dman and get Parise back and who knows. Also looks like the team is already playing better. Good luck (As long as it a'int against us!)

I believe chy is point on I'm also happy with the way the team has been playing of late.some people may think its foolish not to just fold and take the draft pick but I feel the pride they are playing for may serve them well and carry over to next season.
