Would love to see Nashville move on, but Anaheim is playing some good hockey as well. Would be something if 3 Cup favorites were wiped out in the first round (LA, Chicago, Anaheim). I think that would be a first.

HAHHAHA and it happened. Down go the Quacks. Hayward called Kesler the best two way forward before the game started. After the game he was saying that the Preds only made two plays and that is why they won.

This is about the only thing that helps alleviate the pain of a Kings first round exit

It's currently $38 to see the Ducks/Preds Game 7 (I checked Monday night and they were at $59). I was asking around to see anyone wanted to go, just as a fan or hockey, because that is ridiculously cheap for Playoff hockey. Maybe them losing 3 straight home game 7's factoring in?

I had a game at 7pm last night (we gutted out a 4-2 win being shorthanded yet again. Should have been 4-1, one of their guys crashed the crease and pushed the puck over with his glove but I was in the mess too and blocked the ref's view. We argued but to no avail) so after our game about 5 of us from the team went to a bar and had a few beers and watched the rest of it.

I was extremely surprised to see so many empty seats in the lower level. Game 7, at home, playoffs and empty seats? Wow.

Just an FYI too, the Ducks have more Game 7 home ice losses in 4 years than the Habs have in their entire 106 year history.

That's insane.

Realistically speaking, Anderson gave them the best chance to win. If he starts Game 2, this series ,I don't believe, makes it to 7. Bruce strikes again

Hayward can suck it.

and I'm glad that a-hole scott burnside from ESPN will have to shut the fuck up as well. dude has had his head so far up the ducks ass, his nickname should be "stuffing".

Exactly why he hasn't won anything yet. The guy is either constantly outcoached in any given series or makes poor choices like that.

Gibson is their future goalie, and I understand that he needs experience, but this was not the time to get him some considering how important this playoffs was to Anaheim based on what's happened in the past.

You would think as a captain it would be all on you, lead by example. Something we all complain about with Brown, not Getlzaf saying it's not all on him and Perry. Perry was a no show in that round so it is on the both of them.

Its always about him and Perry, mostly Perry. I always say if you stop Perry you stop the Quacks, their depth is always an illusion IMO.

Found this in the OC Register, Getzlaf lists his house in CDM for $7.1 million.

Anaheim Ducks' Ryan Getzlaf selling Corona del Mar house for $7.1 million after ditching Tustin home

The interesting part is he just bought it last year after he sold his house in Tustin Ranch. Ducks eliminated Friday, exit interviews conducted over the weekend, he puts his house up for sale barely a year after buying it a few days later...hmm.

He did lose some money on his Tustin house so maybe he is trying to recoup that on this house but the timing sure screams changes are coming in Anaheim to me.

Getzlaf has always been a selfish captain. While Brown is a decent captain in the sense that he doesn't really help or hurt the team and he lost his skill, Getzlaf has never struck me as the kind that could lead a team even though he is 10 times more skilled than Brown.

Too hot headed too much, bitches and gripes to refs too much and doesn't seem to have a handle on his team.
